Kathleen and Paul are owners and live on site. So you'll get quick response to your needs and access to your washer/dryer in the basement.

Your apartment is only 100 feet from Grand Avenue and only 100 more to beautiful Lake Merritt where the winter birds are arriving. And runners abound.

Your Saturday Farmer's Market is closeby under/around I-580. Trader Joe's is just a few more feet. Whole Foods Market is walkable from your apartment. Sprouts Farmers Market is on Broadway and Safeway is closeby on Grand Ave.

Then there's the classic Grand Lake Theater. You'll find many good restaurants on Grand and Lakeshore. Walking Grand Ave and Lakeshore at night always reminds me of the Left Bank of Paris.

This area truly is a gem and Kathleen and I are glad and happy to live here. You will be too.

From Casper our only alternative to reaching South Dakota was to travel I-25 …. but hey, it was not busy, actually was a fairly scenic drive, and we were loathe to leave it, and Wyoming. We reached Buffalo, WY and headed east, again, along the beautiful I-90 route and out of Wyoming, with happy and grateful recollections of all the beauty and scenery of this great state! (We learn something new every day!)

But we did reach South Dakota eventually, and found this to be another beautiful state. Wall, SD has held pleasant memories for us ever since our first visit, and again with grandson Graham several years ago. Since that visit, Wall has grown so much! The RV park we selected was the one we think we stayed at with Graham, but how it has grown! Much of the landscape we crossed from the western town of Spearfish all the way to Wall does not seem to have changed much, perhaps a bit more traffic, but still lovely. When we were in the RV park last night, Kathleen took time to clean off the “sheet” of dead bugs on the windshield…. amazing! Disgusting to see all the flies go after the remains of splattered bugs …. but wash them off, she did and the windshield looked quite clean and clear.

4/25 - INTEGRITY MEANS AVOIDING any communication that is deceptive, full of guile, or beneath the dignity of people. "A lie is any communication with intent to deceive." Whether we communicate with words or behavior, if we have integrity, our intent cannot be to deceive. - from 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen Covey
