Happy Birthday, Graham

Today one of our grandsons celebrates his 16th birthday. Happy Birthday dear Graham!

The summer of 1994 was a memorable one for our family. Graham came into this world on June 8th, granddaughter Juliana followed on June 10th and grandson Jesse was born not quite a month later - on July 5th! So the three of them made the summer of 1994 a very happy, blessed and exciting one for us!

Graham and his family have never lived close enough to California where we could see them as much as we'd have liked, but visiting Chicago, Prairie Crossing and Minnesota has always been a high point in our travels.

These visits were always special, and it was particularly so if we visited while school was in session. The Montessori schools permit visitors to classrooms - something to which I always looked forward. This picture shows Graham in 2006 practicing a play in which he participated. (He's a great thespian!)

So happy 16th, "Mr. Brown From Out of Town" --- you've given us many happy memories of your growing up!

Lots of love,

PaPa and ClipClop

"I HAVE FOUND that the key to the ninety-nine is the one--particularly the one that is testing the patience and the good humor of the many. It is the love and the discipline of the one student, the one child, that communicates love for the others. It's how you treat the one that reveals how you regard the ninety-nine, because everyone is ultimately a one." (9/6)
